| We at Sandalwood Bengal’s are a small cattery owned by: Melissa Ford-Leonard and Christy Leonard. We are centrally located in the Dallas, Ft. Worth area in Mansfield Texas. Our kittens & cats are raised inside our home alongside our busy family household and our Doberman! We take great pride in each one of our kittens that we raise! Each kitten we place are clean, healthy, greatly loved and highly socialized for excellent personalities. We only breed a few litters a year, this gives our kittens an excellent advantage for being extremely well adjusted. We cannot emphasize how important proper socialization skills are to a kitten's well being! We handle all our kittens from birth until their on their way to their new families. We expose them to children, dogs and our very busy family household. This helps each kitten to adjust nicely when meet their new families.. These socialization skills are SOO important when preparing a kitten for a show home! Kittens need to be exposed to lots of scary sounds with positive reinforcement that its OK. A kitten starts it's show career at 4 months of age, so you can see how early on a kitten must learn trust and again socialization! In our breeding program, we very carefully select the best, top quality cats, from the best available Supreme Grand Champion bloodlines. This helps us continually strive to produce Bengals as closely to the standard as possible, while improving the Bengal breed. Our lines have gorgeous heads & coats but most of all the wild type & look of the Asian Leopard Cat, at the same time having the friendly loving temperament of a house cat. |

| United States and International Shipping Available! We do prefer you to pick up your kitten in person but we all know thats not always possible. We will ship anywhere in the United States & Internationally Via Continental Airlines, Delta or other airline depending on destination. We only ship counter to counter. Shipping is an addition to kitten/cat price, which is usually around $130.00 or so depending again on destination and airline selected. |

| We at Sandalwood Bengal reserve the right to refuse any kitten/cat at any time to anyone! We place our kittens in the best homes that we find suitable. Deposits are non refundable. We do not want our kittens to be place in any sort of kitten/cat mills so therefore, we typically only place our breeding and show cats to reputable & established breeding programs. Of course yes, everyone is new sometimes and we will consider placing cats in new programs on an individual basis! |
